Ravenel Bridge

The Ravenel or Cooper River Bridge between Charleston and Mount Pleasant, South Carolina is a cable-stayed bridge that rises 186 feet above the Cooper River. Until its inception, the larger ships were unable to reach the shipping terminals up river.The bridge rigging is a fan design and the support columns are A-shaped.

Manatee Sunshine

The current span iof the Sunshine Skyway Bridge, a cable stayed bridge with 174' of clearance, was begun in 1982 and completed in 1987. It is considered by many as Florida's signature bridge. Pinellas County controls the northern entrance to the bridge, Manatee County the south, and Hillsborough County controls the main ship channel and the center span of the bridge.

Pinellas Sunshine

The current span of the Sunshine Skyway Bridge, a cable stayed bridge with 174' of clearance, was begun in 1982 and completed in 1987. It is considered by many as Florida's signature bridge. Sunshine Skyway Bridge
