St. Marys United Methodist Chapel

The St. Marys United Methodist Chapel is located at 105 E. Conyers Street in St. Marys, Georgia.
Built between 1856 and 1858, it was used by Union soldiers of the Ninth Maine Regiment as a slaughter house during the American Civil War. Because of this, the building was not razed during the war.

First Presbyterian Church of St. Marys

The First Presbyterian Church of St. Marys is located at 100 W. Conyers Street in St. Marys, Georgia. Built in 1808, it is the oldest building in Georgia in continuous use as a church. Originally non-denominational, it became a Presbyterian church in 1822 and is the oldest Presbyterian church in Georgia. It is also the second oldest church in Georgia.

First Baptist Church - Charleston

The First Baptist Church of Charleston, South Carolina is located at 61 Church Street. It was built in 1822.

The original congregation was established in 1682 in Kittery, Maine and immigrated to Charleston in 1696 with the pastor and 28 followers and was the earliest baptist congregation in the south..
