This woody goldenrod, Chrysoma pauciflosculosa, was found on the US 98 bypass in Panama City Beach, Florida. It can be found in beach dunes, scrub and sandhill communities throughout the panhandle of Florida and the southeast United States.

A pale meadowbeauty , Rhexia mariana, blooms on a roadside in Indian Lake Estates in Polk County, Florida. It is a native Florida perennial and can be found in savannahs, wet prairies, marshes, and wet pinelands. It comes in shades of red, pink, purple, lavender and white.

This orange milkwort, Polygala lutea,  was on the side of one of the unused roadways in Indian Lake Estates. Florida. This was projected to be a large subdivision but is largely unpopulated.

It can be found in pine barren depressions and swamps in the southern and eastern United States. It likes wet sandy soil and is also known as bog batchelor button and candy weed.
