Vietnam 1967

These are some of the pictures  I took when I served with the United States Army's 4th Division whose main base was Camp Enari located near Pleiku, Vietnam in the central highlands. I was a military reporter/photographer and operated the Public Information Offices photo lab for much of my tour. As such, I spent time wherever the 4th Division had a presence, from Dak To to Cam Rahn Bay. Browse the images below.

Richard Nixon in Vietnam

Richard Nixon on a fact finding trip to Vietnam in 1967 immediately smiles and poses for the camera as soon as he spots it. No politician misses the chance to be photographed and he is no exception. He is seen here with General William Peers. commander of the 4th Division, on a visit to the division's base camp, Camp Enari, near Pleiku, Vietnam.
